Garden Cottage

This spacious cottage is entirely on the ground floor and is in the same building as Holly and Honeysuckle Cottages. It has beautiful views of the incredible rugged landscapes from the living room and kitchen into the semi-formal gardens. Garden Cottage has been completely renovated and remodeled for the 2017 season and now features: A modern open plan living room, kitchen, dining area with natural stone wall and patio door to the outside gardens and seating area. A super-king sized bed with en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower. The second bedroom sleeps two in twin beds. There is a spacious separate bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and toilet. There is one step within the property to the living room area.

The seating area outside has plenty of outdoor furniture, so you can enjoy dining al fresco or just sitting in the sunshine with a good book. This cottage is in the perfect spot if you are an avid walker, as you can set off on some great hikes without having to drive anywhere first. There is plenty of wildlife in the surrounding areas, so make sure you take your camera and you may be able to get some pictures of roe deer and red squirrels. Walking by Loch Etive you might spot puffins, seals and plenty of other wildlife.

If you’d prefer to admire the views from the comfort of your car, there is a single track road which you can drive down through Glen Etive and you’ll be greeted by astounding views of the mountains, waterfalls, woodlands and of course, Loch Etive.

After a day of exploring, you can relax in the beautiful Garden Cottage, and you could even watch Skyfall, as you may have been past some of the filming locations whilst in Glen Etive! We have over 300 DVDs, board games and a large selection of books and guides for the local area available in reception, so do come in and see us.
