The Edwardian Wing

This is the "Flagship" accommodation ( both floors of the right-hand wing of the house in the picture above). There is a separate entrance from the courtyard to an entrance hall with downstairs cloakroom and utility area with automatic washing machine and tumble drier.

A magnificent oak panelled drawing room, with feature fireplace, bay windows and polished wooden floors. Relax with 40in flat screen TV, freesat, DVD player, Wifi and ipod music system (ipod included), or make your own music on the piano. All our furniture has been lovingly renovated and upholstered by Renate to create a luxurious traditional decor. The quality fitted kitchen includes a feature range cooker and dining facilities as well. On the first floor the huge main bedroom is quite simply a stunning airy bedroom with a king sized bed and en-suite showerrroom.  We can add two bunk sized beds in here to make it a family bedroom (see below). The second bedroom, still larger than most main bedrooms, has two single divan beds. There is also a magnificent period bathroom with toilet and traditional bath and shower over the bath. We do not allow dogs (or other pets) in our Edwardian Wing, but we allow up to 2 dogs in our cottages.

Extending the Edwardian Wing is charged at £25 per person for the first night and £5 per night thereafter.  Our booking system does not give you this option, so please contact us in advance of your booking.  The additional beds are an antique bed in a cupboard that folds out, and a special Edwardian style sofa where the arms fold down.  Both are very comfy, and provide a unique bed for children.
