This very large suite is on the second floor of the white-washed main house (the five top left-hand row of windows in the photograph above). It boasts superb views north and west over Loch Etive and the surrounding hills and views south over the courtyard to Ben Cruachan. You’ll enjoy cooking more than ever when looking out of the kitchen window at the incredible scenery! The suite is reached via a staircase from the reception room (the old servant stairs), and boasts lovingly restored and re-upholstered antique furniture by Renate with many traditional features that we have introduced to give a luxurious and functional space. There are three very large bedrooms, a spacious lounge with dining table, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and two bathrooms (since 2019), one with a bath, and one with a shower. There is also plenty of additional storage space.
The best thing about Etive View is its incredible location; the adventure starts the moment you step outside! This is the perfect place for walking and nature enthusiasts, you can explore the surrounding mountains, or enjoy walking by the 20 mile long Loch Etive, which is one of the most attractive lochs in the whole of Scotland. You can even enjoy views of the loch whilst relaxing on the deck of a boat, and you might even spot some seals. The loch is also home to over 40 species of fish, so fishing here is always a fun and peaceful way to spend the day.
After a long day of enjoying the great outdoors, you can go out for a well-deserved meal at one of the nearby restaurants or pubs or snuggle up and read a good book. We have over 300 DVDs, board games and a large selection of books and guides for the local area available in reception.

Fab, fab, fab!!! Great accommodation and splendid views. Have never enjoyed meal preparation or dishwashing so much?..that view is hard to beat.

Etive View has been a fantastic base for us - very well equipped, spacious and the views are fantastic.
After recently getting engaged this was the perfect romantic setting. We have really enjoyed our stay here and have not slept this well in years (the bed in the master bedroom is soooo comfy).
