Damon and Renate Powell welcome you to Bonawe House holiday cottages in Taynuilt, near Oban. Bonawe House is an eighteenth century Scottish country house set in its own beautiful and secluded grounds, surrounded by mature beech trees and gardens and with views over Loch Etive.

We are situated between the stunning Loch Etive and mighty Ben Cruachan, on the edge of the delightful village of Taynuilt. The village offers the convenience of shops, hotels, tearooms, and golf all within a secluded rural setting within 15 minutes quiet walk of the cottages. We are only half an hour from Oban and the shops, attractions and west coast ferry services located there.

The Holiday Cottages

There are 6 holiday cottages set in a courtyard to the rear of the main house and 2 apartments within the main house. The cottages sleep between 2 and 5 people. The main house has The Edwardian Wing, sleeping 4, and Etive View sleeping 6. Both are furnished in period style with spectacular views down Loch Etive to the mountains beyond.
