Bonawe House Grounds

Bonawe House is set in a beautiful rural localtion on the edge of the village of Taynuilt, over looking Loch Etive and the mountains surrounding it. The grounds consist of beautiful mature trees and bushes surrounded by fields. There are plenty of tables and chairs around outside for guests to enjoy the peace and tranquility of our gardens.

Of course there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor play for children, and also for observing our fabulous wildlife.  Four red squirrels live in our grounds, and are regularly spotted (and photographed), as well as a small family of roe deer, plenty of rabbits and a huge variety of birds.  The tawny owls are usually noisy at night, and the heron is on guard by our lochan, but the buzzards can often be heard around along with many smaller birds.
